The end of part 1... beginning of part 1.5!

Ok, so I haven't posted in a long time.  I have 4 other blog posts in the work.... I give up.  If I get to those, I will post them out of order, but I can't keep stalling on adding the new things that I want to add because I have to go back to 6 weeks ago and type something up.  Its just silly.

So, as of yesterday, part 1 is over and we have officially moved out of Ashkelon.  It was bittersweet packing up and moving.  On the one hand, we were so excited to be getting to the next part of the program.  We have 2 weeks of programming and then 2 weeks of vacations that I know a lot of people are excited about.  On the other hand, Ashkelon had become a home for us.  After three months many of us formed friendships with people who lived in Ashkelon, developed relationships with our volunteer placements and our ulpan teachers and many other things.  We also formed strong connections within the group that split into several smaller groups yesterday.

Ashkelon was a great town for us to start OTZMA in.  It was big enough that we all found a niche where we could be happy, but small enough that we were able to feel at home in the town and get to know Ashkelon and its people.

Ok, I had to move on again so I will hopefully add a bit more to this later!  I know, I am not very good at this whole blogging thing.
